New lease of life for the old

In the credit crunch era when we’re all trying to save the pennies so we can watch the pounds grow, we have to make sure we make the most of what we have, and think carefully when we’re spending.
So if you want to create a new, fresh feel to your home, don’t worry about splashing out on new paints, instead, how about accessorising instead.
Throw away that old carpet and bring in a new one to lift the hallway or living room.  There’s a whole range of floor rugs out there from coco twists, contemporary brown mocha designs, shaggy rugs or plain, bold coloured rugs.  From as little as £50 you can give your whole room a new lease of life.
While at it, how about a new door mat so that your guests are lulled into thinking things have changed before they’ve even entered the house.  There’s a nice selection of rubber door mats to select from for the outside, to washable contemporary coloured doormats for indoors.
After that if you’ve got some spare cash you could go for a set of new curtains, or perhaps some throws for the sofa, but just a few floor accessories will be enough to brighten your home.
